• How to read a written and charted crochet pattern

• Solid coloured yarn (any weight or fibre) in 2 colours – 1 ball each

• Hook size to suit yarn (eg. 8 ply & a 4 or 4.5 mm hook)

• Scissors & yarn needle

• Crochet stitch markers

Can crochet a traditional granny square

• 3 hours of expert instruction from internationally experienced award winning workshop facilitator Shelley Husband of Shelley Husband Crochet in a class of a maximum of ten participants

• Afternoon tea including a light snack and tea and coffee

• VIP 2-day pass to the Australian Yarn Show from March 7th to 8th at Hotel Realm including:

Shelley Husband is an award-winning designer, author, and serious supporter of making crocheting easy and enjoyable. While Shelley learned crocheting as a child, it took her almost 40 years to crochet her next granny square — and she hasn’t stopped since.

Soon after that square, Shelley realised she had a new design in mind, and then another, and… well, let’s just say, there’s no slowing the new designs that continue to have her granny square community buzzing. With eleven books and many patterns, there's plenty for all crocheters to try.

Shelley enjoys giving her community what they want. Now with an App, online group, and regular workshops across the country, Shelley loves getting the curious hooked on granny squares!
