About the facilitator
Mark (Jamo) Jamieson is one half of the creative team behind Skein Machine, a beloved yarn and fibre store based in Adelaide. Together with Mat, Jamo champions independent Australian yarn producers while also stocking select international brands — including being the only Australian stockist of Knit Pro Yarn.
Skein Machine is deeply connected not just to knitting and crochet, but also to the spinning and weaving communities, offering workshops most weekends across a wide range of fibre arts.
Alongside teaching, Jamo is an accomplished indie dyer with his own vibrant range, The House Dye, known for its playful colourways and luxurious bases such as yak and camel, with cotton soon to join the mix. Passionate, imaginative and endlessly curious, Jamo brings a wealth of knowledge — and a true love of colour — to every class he teaches.
