Bellevue Park Wool

Yarn, kits, accessories

Bellevue Park Wool is a small family owned and operated business. They are located in the Snowy Mountains NSW.

Their family has been farming for five generations, their forebear first coming to Australia for the gold rush. They liked the area so much they purchased land below the snow line.

The farm has been handed down the generations. The family started the business as a way to value add to their product. Jim’s father "Bill" has a great passion for superfine and ultrafine merino wool. He took the fine wool flock and changed to super/ultrafine by buying ewes and a ram and starting the stud.

Jim and his family started Bellevue Park Wool in 2013 by sending wool to New Zealand for processing. It wasn't until 2015 when the wool was returned from New Zealand before they started selling. From there, the team at Bellevue Park Wool have expanded and now hand dye on farm.
