Join Julianne from Fibre Art in Australia for an immersive journey into the world of circular weaving! Our Circular Weaving Class is designed to unleash your creativity with textiles, offering a hands-on experience that explores the art and technique of circular weaving.Â
What You Will Learn:
Discover the joy of handweaving as you learn to craft stunning artwork rich in texture and colour. Julianne will guide you through the process, teaching you how to manipulate different yarns and fibres to create depth and dimension in your weavings.
During the class, you'll master the art of warping a circular loom and explore a variety of weaving techniques, including:
- Tabby Weaving
- Tabby Stripes
- Soumak Braids
- Rya Knots
- Knotted Tabby Weaving
Included in your class fee:
- 1.5 hours of expert instruction on Circular Weaving techniques from one of Australia's leading weaving workshop facilitators

Please note: Julianne will be teaching the class from 3:00pm to 4:30pm before returning to her stall at 4:30pm to answer any questions and show more weaving kits and techniques. You will be welcome to remain in the classroom until 5pm and enjoy your delicious afternoon tea.
