The  2026 Australian Yarn Show agenda features an exciting range of workshops designed to inspire, educate and connect yarn enthusiasts of all levels.

From Friday March 6th to Sunday March 8th, we will have over 20 workshops available to choose from, all taking place at Hotel Realm in Canberra over the weekend of the 2026 Australian Yarn Show.

 

These workshops will be led by some of the most talented names in the industry. Whether you’re eager to try your hand at botanical knitting, learn advanced techniques in Tunisian crochet or master knitting socks, there’s something for everyone.

We’re honoured to collaborate with award-winning and expert crafters, including Abbeymade, Dianne Conroy, Francie Goudie, Jaime Dorfman, Jenny King, Mark "Jamo" Jamieson, Pru Raymond, Shelley Husband and Sue Brown to bring you this incredible line-up.

    Ready to strengthen your business and connect with leaders across the Australian yarn craft industry? Join us for a dynamic and collaborative Industry-Only Day designed to spark meaningful discussion, shared problem-solving and deeper connections within our growing yarn industry.

Workshops start at $175pp. This includes morning or afternoon tea, including something light to eat as well as tea and coffee. You will also receive a VIP two-day pass to the Australian Yarn Show, which gives you access to the market hall as well as the main stage for the talks, panel discussions and demonstrations.

 

Some workshops will require you to bring your own materials. Some will be provided as part of your ticket. These details are available in individual ticket listings and will be sent in a reminder email a few days prior to the Show commencing. The booking page will also provide you with more details about the skills you will learn in each workshop as well as how many other participants will join you in your class.

 

Friday workshop participants should note that there is NO market hall or main stage open on Friday. You will still, however, receive a two-day pass to the Saturday and Sunday of the Show.

 

Tickets should only be purchased via the Australian Yarn Show website (www.yarnshow.com.au). Please do not purchase tickets from a third-party as we cannot guarantee the validity of these tickets.
