2027 Australian Yarn Show Workshops
The 2027 Australian Yarn Show workshop program brings together over 30 workshops designed to inspire, educate and connect yarn crafters of all levels.
Four days of workshops in Canberra
Workshops will run across four days from Friday 5 to Monday 8 March 2027 at QT Canberra. The program covers knitting, crochet, Tunisian crochet, spinning, weaving, needle felting and punch needling, alongside a session on the psychology of craft and a special workshop suited to every yarn crafter.
Our workshops are led by talented makers and educators from around the country with a focus on education and practical skills you can take home. We're honoured to collaborate with Abbeymade, Caitlin Ross, Dianne Conroy, Francie Goudie, Leah Oliver, Louise Pennant, Pi Williams, Pru Raymond, Shelley Husband and Zac Doar.
In 2027, we are excited to welcome a renowned international designer and workshop facilitator for a series of knitting workshops.

Workshop tickets and what's included
Workshops start at $190pp. Half-day workshop tickets include morning or afternoon tea, with something light to eat as well as tea and coffee. Full day workshops include lunch. You will also receive a VIP two-day pass to the 2027 Australian Yarn Show, giving you access to the market hall and the main stage for talks, panel discussions and demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday.
Materials and workshop details
Some workshops require you to bring your own materials, while others include them in your ticket price. These details are listed on each individual ticket page and will be sent in a reminder email a few days before the Show begins. Each booking page also outlines the skills you'll learn in that workshop and any prerequisite skills you shoudl know before signing up to the class.
Friday and Monday workshop participants
Please note that the market hall and main stage are not open on Friday or Monday. If you're booked into a Friday or Monday workshop, you'll still receive your two-day pass for Saturday and Sunday.
