About the event
In this three-hour workshop, Louise will introduce craft psychology, the study of how making things by hand can support attention, mood and a sense of competence and meaning. Drawing on current evidence and her clinical work, she covers how to use knitting and crochet and other craft with intention, to manage stress, hold focus, and build restorative routines. Participants will leave with a personal plan for bringing these techniques into everyday life. This is an educational session, not group therapy.
