This workshop is not for beginners. Participants are recommended to have completed the beginner course the day before or have a solid understanding of Tunisian crochet basics.

Abbey frequently incorporates this technique into her garments, making it a valuable skill for any enthusiast.  

Reading a TC Chart: 

Unlock the secrets of reading Tunisian crochet charts. Abbey will guide you through deciphering chart symbols and understanding how to follow a pattern graphically.  

Advanced Techniques: 

Delve into different increase and decrease methods, each serving distinct purposes. Abbey will not only teach the how but also explain the why behind these techniques.  

Exploration of Stitches: 

Learn a variety of stitches, understand their chart symbols, and discover when to use each stitch. Abbey's expertise will help you expand your stitch repertoire, providing a foundation for more intricate and captivating projects.  

Hands-on Practice: 

Abbey will provide a basic pattern for practice, incorporating the techniques learned during the workshop.

Materials Note: 8-ply yarn is recommended for the workshop. One ball of 8-ply yarn will be provided in your gift bag, but participants are encouraged to bring small amounts of their own different yarns to explore different textures and colours. A decent quality 8-ply is recommended. It doesn’t matter what the fibre is as long as it’s not too fiddly or prone to splitting.
